BOC Cookbooks
Have arrived! If you would like to purchase one they are $15 plus $5 shipping. Please write your check to Branches of Christ and mail it to 2355 Old Hwy 92, Ste 200, Acworth, GA 30102. The cookbook is entitled "Everything But Manna" and has 500 recipes in a hard cover, 3 ring binder with a plastic book stand enclosed.

BOC Cleaning Crews - Volunteers Needed
We are in need of 15-20 volunteers to join our clean teams. We currently have eight crews cleaning on an eight week cycle, but need to expand each team to allow for the larger building. If you have been thinking of some way to help out in the church, this could be for you. It’s also a great way to get to know each other better! If you are interested please contact Kris Everett 770-928-1772 or sign up at the welcome center.

Men's Breakfast Club
The next breakfast is Saturday, Sept. 18th at Jacob's Road. We will begin again at 8:00 a.m. so we hopefully will be able to have a work day following the breakfast. All men are invited to join us for fellowship, pancakes and bacon.

BACKWARDS BUNKO
It's time for Backwards Bunko again!! Come out for an evening of fun and fellowship. We played "Backwards Bunko" last year and we had a blast!! We wore our clothes backwards, ate dessert first, played the game backwards (started on "6's") and we yelled out "Oknub" when we hit Bunko! If you have never played, dont worry....we will help you. If you would like to share an evening with us, we will have Bunko at 7:00 pm on September 21st. This may be our last Bunko at our old church! Bring a snack to share and a friend or family member.

ATTENTION CROSS TRAINERS!
or anyone interested in being a part of the CROSS TRAINERS of BOC... We took the summer off but now it is time to get back in the RACE! We have completed two 5Ks in August and we want to do more to get in shape for our GOD! At our last 5K several people asked about our shirts "Cross Trainers" and it opened the opportunity to tell them all about Branches - don't you want to be a part of this outreach while you get in shape?! Next Cross Trainer 5K - Fall Classic 2010 benefiting the Youth in Cherokee county sponsored by the YMCA and Cherokee Rotary. Saturday, October 16th Canton YMCA 10K & 5K certified, 1 mile Fun Run www.cherokeefallclassic.com Registration forms on online and also at the Welcome Center. Pre-register before Oct. 9th and the cost is only $18.00; Oct. 10th - 16th the cost is $22.00.

Ladies Retreat
