Early Elementary All Stars

5 yrs to 1st grade

Our Early Elementary class introduces children to Kids Worship. Kids Worship is a fun, energetic, and meaningful time when kids can connect with God in their own unique way. This class also spends more time exploring the word of God through activities such as games, role-playing, art, and discussion. Of course, our kids get plenty of time to play, build friendships, and learn to love the Church.

Meet The Teachers

Salote vanDeutekom serves in the dual roles of teacher and Children Ministry Leadership Team representative. Originally from Syracuse, New York, she moved to Georgia after getting a degree in Child and Family Studies. She's been a part of Branches of Christ for almost two years and she's worked with our children for a little less than a year. "The thing I love most about teaching the Tadpoles is when I listen to their prayers and hear them sing for our Lord during worship time. Understanding the concepts will come in time but through their prayer time, that's when I know we've made a difference."

Salote is married to Eric and they have a 6 year old daughter, Kyah, and a 5 year old son, Tyler.
