Branches of Christ Children Ministry exists to glorify God by providing children with the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ, to know Him, learn to live for Him, and enjoy being with His church.
At Branches of Christ we don't believe that children are the "church of tomorrow". We know that they are the church of today! We want every kid to get to know the God who loves them and to learn that He has a wonderful plan for their lives! That is why all of our programs are designed to help kids build strong relationships with God and His people through interaction, teaching, and age-appropriate activities.
Our Sunday morning program is the cornerstone of our Children Ministry. During the adult service we offer an entire program designed around the needs of kids. Children are divided into five age appropriate classes (use the Children Ministry drop down menu to learn more about each of these classes):
Nursery for all kids from birth to their 3rd birthday Preschool for all kids 3 and 4 years old Early Elementary for all kids 5 years old and in Kindergarten and 1st grade Middle Elementary for all kids in the 2nd and 3rd grades Late Elementary for all Pre-Teens in the 4th and 6th grades
We also offer a small Wednesday evening class for all kids in PreSchool through the 6th grade. Unlike Sunday mornings, we only have one class with all the kids together. Our teachers work very hard to make sure that each child gets the attention, love, and instruction they need to learn to love God and his Church. Our older students learn to serve by helping out the teachers with the younger students. The younger students get to look up to the older students and learn how to behave and serve others.
We know how much we love and cherish our kids, so we know how much you, the parent, want to protect and care for them. That is why we strive for excellence not only in our teaching and worship, but also in the way we care for their emotional and physical needs. Our volunteers are trained and retrained on how to have the greatest impact while lovingly caring for our kids as they grow. We have a security system set up to help us check kids in and out. We strive to never leave a child unattended. Our Children Ministry Leadership Team meets once a month to discuss ways to improve our ministry. And all this is done to help you, the parent, get the most out of our adult service; confident that your child is safe and well cared for.
